The Portsmouth Grammar School heads to a Virtual Reality

Some of our Year Six pupils were eager and excited to try out our amazing, new Virtual Reality Headsets.

The hi tech devices allow our pupils to be immersed  into a range of settings and scenarios that will help them gain a very real and much deeper understanding and insight into the things they are learning about.

We are hugely grateful to Mr Chris Philips, a parent at the Junior School, who has generously funded the purchase

The Portsmouth Grammar School

There are over 500 VR resources available through the associated educational platform, from Ancient Britain to the Sky at Night, from World War II to Volcanoes, which will enhance lesson plans and the learning experience.

We are hugely grateful to Mr Chris Philips, a parent at the Junior School, who has generously funded the purchase of two sets of 8 headsets to be used across the School.

Chris came in to join the children in testing them out and clearly thoroughly enjoyed the experience; especially the Star Wars battle!!
